I was raised as an Air Force brat, enlisted in the Army,  September 2, 1969.  I went through Basic Training at Ft. Polk, Louisiana then to Ft. Wolters, Texas for primary helicopter school.

I resigned from Warrant Officer Training in Feb. 1970 and was sent to the Army Signal School at Ft. Monmouth, New Jersey.

After completing my AIT at Signal School, I was kept on as an Instructor in Basic Electronics and Computer Repair.

I separated from the service on August 15, 1971 to return to college to complete my degree.  I eventually went to work for a pharmaceutical company and retired from them in 2009 after 31 ½ years at which time my wife, Cheryl and I moved to Bella Vista.

I joined the American Legion in 2010 and transferred to Post 341 in 2011.
