Freddie E. Rogers

Born April 9, 1940 in Johnstown, Colorado

Graduated from Flagler High School in Flagler, Colorado in 1959.

Attended Adams State College in Alamosa, Colorado.

Enlisted into the Marine Corps in 1962 and was released from active duty in 1966.  Served during the Cuban Missile Crisis and in Vietnam.

Married Bernice Raines in 1967 and was married to her for 36 years until her death in 2003.

Worked at various jobs until I bought a meat packing plant in Lowell, AR that I operated until 1980.  Then moved to Fort Gibson, OK and worked at a slaughter house until 2000.  Bought back the meat packing plant in Lowell, AR in 2001 and sold it in 2007 and moved to Bella Vista.

Served as Commander of American Legion Post 100 in Rogers, Arkansas.  Also served as a Commander of the American Legion Post 20 in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.  Joined the Bella Vista Post 341 in 2007 and currently serving as Judge Advocate.
